Privacy policy

Spoke Solutions Ltd ("Spoke", "we") is a New Zealand business that runs spoke.nz. This policy explains what we collect through this website and what we do with it. It follows the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.

What we collect

When you fill in one of our enquiry forms, we collect what you choose to give us: your name, email address, and, if you add them, your phone number, company, role and details about your enquiry.

We also collect anonymous visit statistics, like which pages are viewed and roughly where visitors are from. These don't identify you and don't use cookies.

Why we collect it

We use your details to reply to your enquiry and to talk with you about working together. If you tick the box to get updates, we'll also send you occasional emails about Spoke. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time. We never sell your details.

Who else handles it

Two services help us run this website. Vercel hosts the site, and Resend delivers form enquiries to our inbox. Both are based in the United States, so your details pass through their systems on the way to us. They use your information only to provide those services to us. Our mailing list is run through Mailchimp, which also stores your details. Inside Spoke, only the people who need your enquiry to help you can see it.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for as long as we need them to work with you, then delete them. If you're on our mailing list, we keep your details until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it. Email sales@spoke.nz or call(06) 242 8008. Our privacy officer is Ed Beatson. If you're not happy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.
